FRUIT BODY: 0.5 -6cm wide (per patch).  An encrusting resupinate fungus that starts of white, turns creamy to bright yellow and finally becomes brown with age. The surface is uneven and slightly warted. GILLS/PORES: N/A. FLESH: Thin, starting soft becoming tougher. SPORES: Hyaline, broadly ellipsoid, uniseriate with 16 in each ascus. HABITAT: Usually on the underside of old Piptoporus betulinus brackets. SEASON: Frequent.  Throughout the year. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
